| The conference will explore new perspectives within the P4 parameters by way of individual conference papers, keynote presentations, and workshops. • Policy initiatives: This stream will focus on State, Federal and International initiatives addressing rural and remote mental health needs. Forward planning initiatives will be explored in the area of climate change and its impact on rural and remote communities. • Primary interventions: This stream will focus on research into early intervention strategies and treatments for mental health issues across the great diversity of our rural and remote communities. • Promoting recovery: This stream will focus on evidence based treatments designed to facilitate recovery, particularly in the areas affected by climate change, with a focus towards depression and suicide. • Preventing relapse: This stream will explore research into relapse prevention strategies principally in the areas of depression and suicide. |
